Doer’s” are a co-operative of individuals interested in “Making” and “Doing” innovative things with radios, micro-controllers (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Beaglebone, Pic chips, etc.) and all things electronic with the goal of experimental learning, education and providing community services.
We are not a “Club”, we have no formal structure. Think of us as a “collective” with similar traits and passions – we make and do things with the mindset that our creations will benefit others through learning or use by a larger audience (some might even say we are “anarchist” that get things done).
Why a “cooperative”?
Because we share knowledge, experience. time and resources to form synergies that move towards a common goal.
Hopefully, our achievements will foster S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) educational initiatives in youth and underprivileged plus improve emergency communications infrastructure in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota) metropolitan area and beyond.
We are mostly Amateur Radio (“Ham” Radio) operators, but anyone interested is welcome to join us.
